Milo usually shares it with me, but Meko realized that its right next to the radiator, so by the end of his (8 hr) nap, he’s pushed us both out. Or sleeps on top of Milo, pretending that he’s just part of the blanket.

I think we’ve trained Sullivan to sleep in my chair or on the couch when a blanket is there. Gilbert, on the other hand has five fav’s: our bed, a guest room bed, our closet (only when sun is coming thru the window), the guest room floor (again, only when sun is coming), or the stairway landing (yet again, when sun is coming in the entry window)! PS: Don’t use the blankets unless you want to turn orange!

Saw these ornaments that are why we haven’t had a Christmas tree in years.
Looks exactly like our as they climbed the tree, until the toppled it.

My childhood cat Oreo would climb the tree about 2/3 of the way and just perch. He scared my mom a couple times just staring out at her. 
My cats now occasionally bat down an ornament, gnaw on the branches, and destroy the paper/ribbons on the (decoy) packages under the tree. Chaotic creatures!

Last year was our first real (fake) christmas tree at our new place. We were in between fosters and got these 2 crazy kids Dec 28th. Alas, I fear it must stay boxed until they’re too old to attack it.

It’s plugged in and slightly warm. She gave it up and became a lapcat when I napped in my recliner

My wife showed me an ad yesterday for a cat tree that convert to a Christmas Tree arrangement, yet maintains entry at the base and two “cat holes” at upper levels. Apparently in comes with tree branches you add in various holes in what looks to be about 4’ tall 18’’ diameter core. Not sure the cats would understand, but an interesting idea. The downside was the $360 price tag! I don’t recall the website, do a search for “cat Christmas tree.”
