Rest well and take the meds if/when you need them. You’re in my thoughts and prayers for a full recovery!

it hard to rest lol. i bought this special pillow but i cant breathe the air into it. so ill have to use pillows. the area itches and im sure that is the stitches. it feels like i got a new tattoo. im still sleepy so i drank some coffee so i can be awake for the day and not sleep all day. that would be bad considering i need to eat. but so far im trying. and i only take the meds when needed. so far i only took one last night…its gonna take a while for the recovery…i was told 6-12 weeks total. im hoping sooner with PT. bubba is by himself until monday as ill be at my best friend’ house tonight until monday. then at my house. its hard not to put weight on it as well. im trying not to lol. but ill figure it all out

It is hard to rest, especially when that is all you are able to do. Now might be a good time to read the book or books you’ve always wanted too, but never had the time!

As for not putting weight on your foot, that has to be very difficult! Does your insurance cover non-weight bearing scooters? Something like that might help with mobility and keeping your weight off your foot.

its been hard today. my boyfriend’s cats left me alone lol…i wanted their attention. i had to get up a few times to get something to fix my sugar levels…then to grab something out of the fridge to eat for lunch as my boyfriend got me something cold, then to go pee…im at my best friends house till monday then my house. i have the boot…i dont know of my insurance will cover one of those scooters. i was told to wear a boot for the next few weeks and use a walker…

Isn’t that always the way. When we want their attention, they ignore us and when we’re trying to wrap a gift with a pretty ribbon in 1/10 the time we generally do it, they won’t leave us alone!

I hope your bg levels out!

my boyfriend’s cat always not want to be near me…if they do its because my boyfriend gives them rubs…they sniff my hand and thats it…sometimes they will let me pet them but not for long. bubba on the other hand loves getting rubs, etc. right now he is next to me. so far he hasnt tried to punch a hole in my pillow for my ankle

Here is a pic of bubba on my pillow tust ok suppose to put my ankle on….he thinks it’s his

I think you have this backwards. Cat is sitting on his pillow, once in a while you are allowed to use it when it is not currently in use.

as long as he doesnt use his claws on it, then im goood. but he likes lying on it lol. he snuggles up to me at night and doesnt try to go on my ankle. so he must know something is up.

Awww! Too cute!! I’m sure he is very happy to have you home again

He is quite happy to have me home….he was overly happy by rubbing all over me and tust included my boot, etc which made it harder to walk when I’m already having trouble

I was groggily making my breakfast when I heard the sounds of a cat face-off. Rushing outside, I see MM and the wandering black cat hunched and ready to fight. I clapped my hands to try to startle them apart but that backfired. So I raced off the deck and turned on the hose and squirted them both!! Black cat ran off, MM chasing, so I blasted them again. That did it! And oh my goodness, drenched cats are pitiful creatures. :droplet::droplet::droplet::droplet:
