Discourse has different “trust” levels and some auto-silencing/flagging may occur for someone at trust level 0 (new poster) attempting to post multiple links or links at all depending on how our spam settings are set up. Repeated attempts to post such things may cause auto silencing, auto-temp suspension and/or auto-flagging to moderators. It’s a “Discourse spam protection” built-in mechanism to prevent new users from posting irrelivant spam links.
I’m not an admin any longer, but those who are should check our spam settings and trust configurations at each level to see if this may be responsible for what we’re seeing here.
You should be able to go to Admin Panel → Logs → Screened Emails/posts/IPs to see why a particular event occurred.
@mohe0001 yes, that is what is happening. @spdif (aka. Chris) confirmed this on TuDiabetes forum, so no links for me until I am a “member” here rather than “basic user.” – would have posted the link to the TuDiabetes convo here, but alas…
