It seems to be micro-managed. I suspect the person who wrote it played rogue, or larn, or Ularn; those games always had the approach that part of a general set of things had to be done to get to the next level. The “check for update” button doesn’t do anything for me, but I get the update after a while. My wife’s phone has the same settings but gets the update a couple of weeks (or so) later. I gave up playing those games after I got the letter of congratulation from the King, then the tax demand; I don’t see how I can do better than that.
Unfortunately the issue persists just as strongly, still can’t use xDrip. How do I contact JamOrHam? Can’t find him on here.

JamOrHam is the xdrip+ developer. You can reach him by uploading your events log to him within the xdrip+ app, or post him on Gitter. There have been numerous problems with Android 10.
