I just read that X-drip now works on iPhones?
Very preliminary. Not really stable, but it’s a start. It’s also a PIA to install on your iPhone.
Thanks, hopefully the kinks will get ironed out soon!
So glad that you let us know, @Millz! This is exciting…even if it isn’t quite there yet. Would be so wonderful if the kinks were ironed out. @docslotnick, do you have hopes that they might be or will Apple set up too many roadblocks?
@Irish Yes, I think it’s just a matter of time, perhaps a few months. The fellow working on it seems to be highly motivated. I don’t think Apple can set up the roadblocks to stop this development.
And,BTW, nice to see you back again! We’ve missed you!
Yes we have, @Irish! it is GREAT to see you here!
@Millz, where you ever able to make it work?
I haven’t attempted it yet, unfortunately.
@docslotnick, do you know how the guy is progressing by any chance?
From what I can see it’s going pretty slowly. Still aimed primarily at hackers who want to test and contribute code fixes. Not a lot of github activity going on with it.
It’s looking dark!
I am working on something right now, but it is not CGM stuff.
Often I read the question: Is there a xDrip for iPhone.
Today I found this:
Hope the Link will be helpful.
Does anyone have experience with this app?
I am glad to see xdrip for the IOS folks. Would be interesting to see feedback from those using.
It is not easy to do yourself, this is an excerpt from the instructions:
So, for mere mortals, it is not easy to accomplish this on an IOS device. We are looking forward to trying it out someday, but not right now, not enough time.
The going on this is very slow. The github page on it has very few updates, and I subscribe up the developer’s gitter thread and it’s just not very active.
It would be great if this development could go faster, but it is what it is.
@jroth We have another thread that’s been going on this:
Oh, I haven’t seen the other topic.
Can we close this or merge?
