My son has been using Tandem t:slim X2 with Dexcom for the past 8 years, he is now considering switching to MiniMed 780G with the instinct sensor. He tried a sample Libre 3+ and experienced a lot of connectivity issues with the app, but the Medtronic rep says he won’t have the same problem with the signal staying once it’s connected to the pump instead. Have you had issues with the Libre/Abbott Instinct staying connected to the MiniMed 780G pump?
In general I’d love to hear what other experiences people have had with the MiniMed and Instinct closed loop system?

I have the 780G but haven’t yet transitioned to the Instinct. I’m still on the G4 sensor and have to use them up before I can get the Instinct. I can say that it’s very rare for the pump to lose the signal to the G4 as in almost never. And in the rare times that it does happen, simply moving the pump gets the signal back again. I don’t know if that will be the same with the Instinct, but hopefully it should be similar.
