he does love his home…he purrs, he gives love bites, on and off the bed, etc. he needs to lose a few pounds tho…he is at a 14.8…he was 12 last year. he is a love bug

My cat is 20+ pounds! 
wow! thats a lot of weight. I feel bad putting bubba on a diet. but I don know what to do. he loves his food. I should walk him but most days I’m in pain. but he does need to lose it.

She is really big, but slender. Bubba sounds like a very effectionate kitty. Mine is not so much, pretty independent and roams around a lot getting into mischief:-)

he is affectionate. he mostly hangs out in the living room but he will come into the bedroom every so often. at night time when its bed time he comes in. and will sleep for a while then goes back into the living room. bubba makes me smile. thats all I need.

on Sunday in the car I said to bubba when I get home tomorrow we can have lots of love, lots of kisses, lots of rubs but not lots of food as you are fat. what did he do right after I said that? he meowed lol. silly cat. he is happy I’m home now. been in bed with me since I’ve gotten settled into bed. now I’m sure he’ll be in the bed all night with me maybe. I have pics of him sleeping tonight. ill upload those tomorrow.

My cat Leo hopped up onto my lap last night as we were finishing dinner. Silly me, I thought he wanted some cuddle time. But no, he snatched a cauliflower floret off my plate, jumped to the floor, and ate the entire piece!!

LOL! sneaky. kitty. bubba just wants some of my food sometimes…my boyfriend will give him some of it. I’m like don’t give him any! but yours is funny. when we think its snuggle but in reality its food lol. how big was the piece?

A good-size floret! He likes to “play” with other steamed veg—grren beans, broccoli, asparagus—but avoids Brussels sprouts!

Is there something in the brussel sprout taste that bothers you? I used to hate them because in the midwest they were usually served boiled and so it was liike eating snot. But once I found you could high temp roast them with a little clarified butter and salt, they turned into one of my favorites.

My whole family loves loves loves brussel sprouts. 
Steamed until they’re just right with just some salt, pepper and butter. Yum yum. Too crunchy or too soggy though and they’re not so good. I also love to make roasted brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and honey…chilled. Yummy for the tummy!!!

im not a veggie person at all…never liked them. there are a few that I do like but has to be prepared in a certain way. otherwise I won’t eat the ones I do like. like carrots has to be the baby ones with ranch dressing. lettuce in a very small salad with dressing. mashed potatoes with lots of gravy (childhood trauma). thats about it. otherwise you won’t get me to eat any veggies.

These are SO yummy. Have you ever had them steamed and combined with brown sugar and butter? SO delicious.

We are a lot alike, you can take whole carrots put them in one layer in a pan, cover with water with a little sugar and butter and let them simmer away while you cook other things, when all the water evaporates it makes its own sauce, couldn’t be easier and is super yummy.
