My friend does this ululating “kitty, kitty” call that no one else can reproduce convincingly. So when I watch her cats, I keep ‘em inside!

good keeping them inside. i dont know what i would do if bubba goes outside. he has already ran out of his harness once and i was freaking out. thankfully my boyfriend was able to get him. but oy. i dont think i can do the kitty kitty thing. i dont think it would work for me

Well my Mac is in trouble…the computer froze on me then gave me the flashing file icon. I can’t afford to lose everything as bubbas pics aren’t backed up…I was going to do a back up but I guess I can’t until it’s fixed…please pray that the Apple store can bring it back to life as how it was before it froze…it would mean a lot to me. Then I can do a back up and a time machine backup as well. Thanks! Ok sure I can download the pics from here but it isn’t all of them…

they weren’t able to bring up the os. so we had to start over. the good thing is iCloud had all of my stuff!!! so I was able to retrieve some of it. right now I am trying to upload my music that I had so that way its the same. that is a pain in the butt to do. but overall it think I have it all set. I don’t have the background I had tho…that is on the external hard drive that I need a friend of mine to fix for me. I may have my best friend send me a pic of her boys who are my nephews and have them as the background pic. bubba can now be on my chest. he wasn’t happy the last few days when he couldn’t get in my chest. its his favorite place. and I felt bad. so now he can be back where he likes it, etc. so now he can be happy again

bubba is being so cute. he really likes being on my chest a lot. so I have to move my computer up to my knees. he won’t be getting anything for Christmas as he has plenty of toys and such. he does have an advent calendar tho :D, got the one from trader joes. I’m behind a few days of the treats. so tomorrow ill catch him up. he really misses me when I’m gone for 2 nights. he is all over me. why do cats do that? it makes it hard to walk especially when I already have balance issues. I need to update bubbas Instagram lol. but overall, he is good
what do you guys do for your cats for the holidays?
My Amador has worsening kidney stones and consequently has become erratically incontinent. 
His Christmas “treat” is a diaper designed for cats that at least lets him poop. Sigh…

hugs…it sucks when something comes up. I didn’t know they had diapers designed for cats. I’m gonna go on amazon and look them up so I can see what they look like. I’m sure the same way as the dogs but smaller I guess. at least he is happy and that what matters

bubba decided to chip the dog treat that I have for my boyfriends moms dog. and he ripped open the package too so now I have to get a new one and give the one that he decided to try to eat to my mom as she wouldn’t care and its for her dogs. but I want to give a good one to my boyfriends moms dog. so that gift will be last minute wrapping. I didn’t think cats would know the difference between cat treats and dog treats. I guess bubba is part dog

A very smart cat, for sure!
Unfortunately the stones haven’t passed (over 2 months now) and on x-ray now look bigger. Nearest specialists are in AZ and Seattle—not sure how my 20 year old kitty would cope with a 2-day car trip or any intense procedure (lithotripsy). Sigh…
you can always sedate him for the car ride. I’m sure he is uncomfortable at the moment with the stones. poor baby

its been 8 months since taranga has been gone :(…I miss her sooo darn much. I hoped my boyfriend or my best friend would keep me busy today. and that won’t happen. ill try not to lose it that much today. I’ve already got teary eyed (a few times). it seems to get harder each anniversary. I know the 1 yr one will be the most difficult one for sure.
right now bubba is on my embroidery floss that I need to put on the bobbins. and sleeping. it never ends lol
@amymc, I know how you feel! My Harley has been gone a year and I still listen for his T. rex roar!

Update on Amador: I took him for a consult and more tests today (bloodwork, x-rays). Tomorrow he goes back for ultra-sound on the entire urinary track and and also urinalysis including urine culture. Paws crossed…
Update: Bladder cancer, weeks to a couple of months. Will keep him as comfortable as possible. I am too sad for words.

Amador has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and is on meds to keep him more comfortable. I am heartbroken…
