That is awesome I’ve never been a 5.8 in my entire years of being a type 1 and it’s been 47 years way to go!!!

While I’m really excited for Larissa and am not raining on the parade, I want to add one thing: your diabetes may vary - YDMV. While aiming for a low a1C is a great goal, and I think it feels really exciting to get there, I really hope nobody beats themselves up if they’re not sub-six! Improvements are worth celebrating! But everyone’s management is different and it sure isn’t easy for some folks. Being here and being engaged has been so helpful for my partner and I, but it hasn’t made the diabetes management a snap.
Anyhow, still excited for Larissa!

Well put @TravelingOn. I’m ecstatic if I can get sub 7. Kudos to anyone who is able to make improvements in their A1c and keep it there, regardless of the value.
