I had problems early on in pairing Apple Watch with Dexcom G7. Then my watch would pair flawlessly.
I was late coming home from Easter Vigil Mass and my sensor had expired. Yeah I know, how could that happen with that great 12 hour bonus?
So Mr Morning Person at 11PM needs to install a new sensor. Pump paired perfectly but iPhone and watch did not. When I woke up I started G7 on my phone and this time it went OK, but the watch would give a pair request but I couldn’t OK it.
This was the trouble I had early on with G7. What was I doing not doing?
When I remove a sensor I wrap them in foil. They seem to still be transmitting Bluetooth. Then I delete its code in my phone’s Bluetooth.
In my fatigue I did half of that. I forgot to delete the old Bluetooth pairing code.
The problem is which one. I keep my phone on the Bluetooth screen and finally saw the proper one go active. I deleted the other and Voila! I was able to pair my watch.
BTW A Happy Easter Sunday to all.
