Having a new grandkid is a little like having diabetes in that while it’s a pretty general experience, it’s also quite particular and specific to each of us.

All the best everyone. Normal life will resume shortly, if not already, but I’ve had a good rest and some very happy times! We had a lovely Christmas at home with my parents and my husband’s parents. We celebrated the solstice at a beautiful National Trust property near us, followed by a slap-up feast at the pub with our friends and all of our kids. True blessings.
