Finally riding my bike

I haven’t ridden for about two months with infections and the STONE. My usual Saturday ride is 30 miles. I did 25. My butt is out of condition. It was sore well before I got Mack to the start.

I started at 158mg/dl and was 108mg/dl at the end.

It felt so good to be out on the bike.

I saw the 1st golden rods of the season. I’d took pictures but they were bent over from last night’s rain.

Because of the damp roads my bike is filthy. The forecast for tomorrow afternoon is supposed be rain free. Maybe I can give it a wash.

So glad you were finally able to get back out there. Great going, you remind me to keep going and it will finally happen.

@Freckles you know the Nike motto-“Just Do It”.

I’m fortunate in that I have a lifelong love of bicycling. Running is second but sadly my arthritic knees say NO!

The sun came out so I dumped the cats and washed the bike. It lives in the house and could not come in all spattered.
