Dexcom G7 overpatch

I forget how long I have been using G7, say 9 months. About a couple of months ago the green top film is too strongly adhered to the patch. I have to continuously circular press to bet the patch to adhere to my skin more strongly than the green film.

In simpler terms, when I attempt to remove the green film the patch is stuck tightly to the film.

The first time I had this happen was when my Endo gave me 3 sensors around Christmas. They were not expired but definitely older than the sensors from my last order. I assumed the problem was age, but it happens every time. BTW the overpatches need adhesive remover to remove them.

@CarlosLuis this might be TMI, but I generally take mine off while in the shower. The warm water helps greatly when pulling off the G7s (and Tandem sets too). Any residual glue I can get afterwards.

I had a similar experience with the G7 overpatches. About 2 months ago, I found the patches pulling the G7 off my skin when removing the green plastic cover right after applying the patch. Did not see this problem when inserting a new G7 sensor followed by overpatch.

The change tat works for me, using G7s on abdomen, is to wait a few hours before removing the green plastic. Comes right off without pulling overpatch off.
