O wow. I’ve been starting all my sensors almost immediately. I hadn’t known this, but I’ll definitely wait a good 10 minutes before starting the next sensor.
As in, if there are 9 days of transmitter life left, it won’t let me start a new sensor ?
I am unsure on the particulars of the issue. But saw it reported enough times that it seems no downside to a 10 minute minimum wait between different physical sensors.
There has to be something else involved as many times it works just fine going immediately from the one to the next. But it is those issue that take a few different elements to come together that create the harder bugs to find and fix. Anyway - we wait the 10 minutes and it makes us feel better if nothing else.
In the years that the G6 has Ben on the marker ,I have had only one Tx and sensor replaced, because of signal loss. ‘Bluetooth issue”. It is usually caused by the sensor and Tx being out or range of the relieving device. Shorter term loss length can come doom compression of the pair. ALWAYS. Mine has come back on line with in a hour. The failure was off line for 6 hours
