Just got a message that my “data export is now available”. It’s a .gz tar file that has all of my posts included. The message came from “system”.
Was this an error? Or is there a reason we are being provided with this?

@Sam That’s great! I did try to get banned from the other site but they wouldn’t do it, said they only banned real miscreants

They are walking on eggshells after some very bad decisions backfired… back in the good old days they’d have banned you

If you go, in your preferences, under “Activity,”, at the left column bottom you will see the option “Download my posts.” I believe that this is the source of the message you saw – you must have accidentally ended up on that tab.
I know it would be easy for me to do on my phone: my big fingers are all over the many tabs of the Discourse app
