One of the best ideas for a cure - which in my opinion has not been investigated enough yet - would be to turn us all into mice.

However apparently about the same study (tell me if I’m wrong). Seems to be a thing. I can’t find a predecessor to that article with the goggle image search.
The thing that annoys me about this is that I can’t find out who the author of the image is, maybe it’s immediately obvious to those in the business; there’s a form to it that seems recognisable, but I’d just like to know!

I did an image google search of it and it came up PHD comics. The archive covers a lot of years.

This may be interesting from a scientific perspective, but this is nowhere near an actual therapy for T1D patients. Radiation therapy and bone-marrow transplants for all T1D patients is never going to happen.
