Greetings all,
I hope all is well. I have been using xDrip+ on my Samsung for some time, with Libre2 sensors, but find the ‘calibration’ process quite odd. A few Qs if i may:
i) aside the initial 2 calibration inputs, how often am i meant to re-calibrate, generally?
ii) i often find divergence between Libre readings on xDrip and a manual BG check, so try to update by adding a calibration. what is the difference between ‘Add Calibration’ in the drop down menu on the left, and adding a reading via the ‘vial’ icon (where you can add readings/carbs/boluses etc) - do they achieve the same thing or are they different?
iii) Sometimes when i add a calibration (via either method), the reading jumps to the inputted value (feels like it has had an immediate effect), but other times (i think later in the 14d period) nothing seems to happen and it says “Calibrated using data beyond last 4d” - what does this mean? It’s a little irritating when i know Libre is giving me duff readings (as it is now) but i can’t seem to find a way to correct it.
iv) Sometimes, when i add a few calibrations in short order, the reported reading drops to zero for a while. Again, irritating, and not sure quite what is going on.
Is there somewhere a document that walks through all of this?
Thank you very much indeed.
