Calf Placement of Dexcom - Alternate Spots that work

For those who use the calf for sensor placement, how often do you experience compression lows? Thanks!

I’ve never had compression lows when on my calf. But I rarely cross my legs.

Thanks, I hadn’t thought of crossed legs per se but that makes me realize that calf placement might not be compatible with yoga practice! :woman_in_lotus_position:t3:

So I love the idea of calf placement…but the execution for me was not ideal. I may try again soon. Where I placed it, it kept hurting in a way I’ve never felt with a sensor. I pulled it a few days early bc it lost signal and I was concerned about the state of the wire since I’d racked it quite a few times getting up from my wooden dining room chairs.

It wasn’t terrible so I might try again! Thanks for the tip, though!

So evidently my Dexcom sensors have teamed up with my pods to get me back.

My pod (that I wore three days) never retracted it’s needle.

I pulled the needle jabber out with pliers out of curiosity and the whole thing is pretty long.

And what is the lesson we all learned from this, Allison?

Oh dear, that message needs a warning, I think I need to go to Costco now and buy a new monitor.
