This type of development can only be good. As mentioned in the article Dexcom is also working with Google on a contact lens that monitors Bg.
When companies like Apple and Google get behind projects like these there’s a very good chance they will come to fruition.

Completely groundbreaking and a godsend IMHO. Just seeing my numbers on my AW has been an amazing step forward for me.
If, and it’s big if, Apple could pull this off it would transform the company into so much more than just a tech company. They would be saving lives and transforming the way we all monitor and treat our diabetes. Something tells me Jobs has his fingers crossed from up high on this one.
