Tracy Fire in California impacts Medline

The large Warehouse in Tracy California caught on Fire on Thursday June 11, 2026. The more than 1 million Sq Ft Warehouse houses supplies distributed by Medline one of the nations largest providers of DME supplies for Hospitals, Pharmacies and Direct to consumers. It is estimated that the fire will require up to five days to extinguish.

While it is not clear what supplies will be impacted, or whch supply change will be most impacted, it is clear that ultimately all DME supplies will experience some shortages in the near term with impacted products. It is likely best to stay in front of DME needs now and for the immediate future until the supply chain is better normalized. Even if you do not use Medline for supplies.

Apparently, based solely on that article:

Bradley said sprinklers were not operating and he was not sure why. There was also no water pressure on fire hydrants located at the facility. The failure of the private water system “significantly impacted” the firefight, he said.

That said this is just a normal FU; I can’t see any reason to believe that DME channels will be more than minorly impacted from what I read. I’m not disputing the neurotoxin reports, just the effect on our own DME.
