I forget when but Tandem has had connectivity with the G7 15 day sensor for some time now. Perhaps this email was to introduce their new app which reminds me of “Clippy.” I don’t think I want this on my phone.

Does this include the Mobi pump too? My Endo told me recently that was not the case.
I have to correct something, the email is not from Tandem but from Dexcom. Sorry about that. It has a picture of my pump so I assumed (we all know what that means) that it was Tandem.

I installed it (Happy Bob, not Tandem) because it was free and I figured it might have, “Grumpy Bob”, which would be more my style. Alas it asked me to “Create Account” and wouldn’t do anything else. It also has “in-app purchases”, Dexcom patches maybe?

It looks like for Dexcom it connects over the internet, which would not be very appropriate for a device running on the same 'phone as the app whose data it is reading (very indirectly). Source code is proprietary (“Harold Al Oy”) so it can’t be hacked to communicate with xDrip+. Pity, I might be tempted. Even better connect to the app which does the predictions (AAPS in my case) and read the predictions. Most likely AAPS does not support that, but if it did:
“Hey dude, this is the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on, but I’m going to vomit if we don’t get off soon.”
