Best way to break up that argument with tech geeks is to say:
“Hey, wait everyone! Stop! Which would win a fight between Starfleet’s Enterprise and the Death Star?”

Same for us: K is on iOS because of Omniloop.
Sugarmate is mainly useful if you want more customizable CGM views, alerts, or easier data sharing with family caregivers. If you’re already happy with your current Tandem Dexcom setup, you probably don’t need it.
@RachelMaraii I started on Apple II, moved to Windows for years, switched to Mac several years ago. I think its mostly what you’re used to, somethings seem better with each. For instance, I had to buy a Windows system to use Esri ArcGIS for mapping purposes (not available for Mac), finally got priced out of the market and switched to QGIS because for the most part its free/open source and has both Windows and Mac versions.
That said, I like @ClaudnDaye’s cookies!!
Sugarmate can be useful if you want to share your CGM data with family, friends, or your care team. You can have up to 20 followers, so the main benefit is easier data sharing. If you don’t need that, you probably don’t really need the app.
