Understanding “Ozempic Teeth”: How Weight Loss Injections Can Affect Your Oral Health - Potomac Dental Centre.
That’s a marketing web site.
From what I’ve read,it is dentists that are making the connection. There’s no actual verifiable study, just anecdotal observation.
I’m on Monjaro & my husband is on Ozempic. Our doctor told us to keep hydrated, take D vitamins (weight loss drugs deplete vitamin D), & eat lots of protein. I’m not sure about the teeth thing, but it could happen. We’ll wait on actual studies. ![]()
I ran into this thread randomly and I know it’s kinda old, but I’ll just drop what happened on my end. I don’t really see it as just a marketing site tbh, I ended up there after dealing with some weird stuff myself.
For me it wasn’t just nausea, my stomach was off for weeks and on top of that my gums got super sensitive and my teeth started feeling… different, hard to explain but not normal. That’s when I started digging more and while reading Ozempic lawsuits I saw people mentioning not just GI issues but also oral stuff popping up after longer use. Kinda made everything click for me, like ok this isn’t just random.
