Yeah, those immunotherapy infusions are begining to such my energy down. I had one on Thursday and am feeling better on Sunday. Thursday/Friday I slept an uncharacteristic 11 hours + a couple of hour afternoon nap. No exercise, I begged off the group ride Saturday but felt good enough to do some stationary spinning last night.
Thanks for listening.
Another day in the life….
BTW - watching some crazy young women on mountain bikes in the Olympics. These ladies are tough.
Going to ask what may be obvious, but you may not have considered it…
Did you happen to use a Soap with moisturiser in the area of the infusion set in the previous few days?
were any oils/creams used in the previous few days (even a couple days before putting on the infusion set?
Was the humidity higher than normal?
did you happen to eat anything different, that would cause your body to produce more oils.
I’ve personally experienced all those issues in the past, that resulted in my infusion set coming loose easily…
But the food is the trickiest – for me, unsweetened coconut water seemed to be one of the culprits, as was a high intake of Avocadoes. Other sources of oils and nuts didnt seem to impact me at all.
Only Ivory soap in this house.no lotions or even sunscreen used, I always scrub the area with alcohol letting it dry,
I live in south central Texas which is known for year round high humidity. The thing is I spent those days after changing the site in the A/C. It was raining all week.
Didn’t eat anything different.
The one time this happened was during or shortly after a 2+ hour summer bike ride.
I’ll put it down to FM, the M is magic I’ll leave it to your imagination as to the F.
