I do not have a optimism you have and we still have not been given an explanation why tudiab had to go. Did tudiabetes have an software algorithim operating it?

Discourse is the reason why TuD and FUD look so similar. It is the same forum software package running on a different website. Discourse software has some inbuilt automated mechanisms to prevent spammers from joining the forum and immediately flooding the forum with junk. Unfortunately those mechanisms are not that good at distinguishing between spammers and good-willing new users.
We are not affiliated with TuD. Hence we do not know anything about the reasons to shut down TuDiabetes other than the statements that BeyondType1 provided on TuD.

Well, they didn’t say it nakedly, but the company that was paying for tudiabetes decided to make a pair of websites, and pay for them instead. So with nobody to pay for tudiabetes it is shutting down.

But they’ve had the 2 useless (IMO) websites since before 2021. Why do away with the TUD site now? Why not incorporate TUD seamlessly intuitively Beyond?
It appears to me that the PTB does not like people with diabetes helping each other. What I get fro the Beyonds is the official party line.
I could be wrong as I’m a crotchety old man.
