I have developed a bad habit

@Randy I can appreciate when folks work outside; in the heat and sweat there’s probably no adhesive that is removable that’s going to work out well. In my military life, nothing would have worked decently, but then I don’t think I’d have been allowed to stay in, particularly my field!

I use Tegaderm under both PODS and Dexcom sensors (I buy the rolls as well). It helps them both stay put until time to change them.

Ok, folks, I received the Opsite FlexiFix (Tegaderm type material) I ordered on Amazon. I bought the 2” x 11 yard version. I was thinking I could get two pieces (1”x1”), but don’t think that will be happening. It has two full width release layers, one clear but printed with green graph paper lines (presumably to guide cutting to size); the other a very thin/slightly stiff “cardboard” like layer with a slick release side facing the sticky side of the material. Both the outer layers are split at about 1/3 the width across the material (presumably for easy removal). You cut off the piece you want, peel off the cardboard layer, apply to skin where needed, then peel the “see thru/lined layer.” It’s a roll of material and NOT in anti-septic pouches like Tegaderm , so if you’re overly concerned about that aspect, this is not the product for you. It seems to stick pretty well (I haven’t used it under a device yet). That said, don’t plan on “re-applying” if it comes off, when I peeled a test piece off it would not “re-apply,” more of a one-and-done adhesive. I noted it seemed to have “skin residue” attached, but it was not irritating and didn’t “peel skin” with it. More to follow after I test with a device…unless, of course, others have already done this and care to chime in…

“I’m NOT repeating myself, I’m NOT repeating myself…oh God, I’m repeating myself!”:star_struck::movie_camera: (I forget which movie this is from! But it’s memorable!)
