And to you @Marie!

I am writing a grant about 18 hours a day right now, but still was able to celebrate the 4th by going to the SF Fillmore Street Jazz Fair for a few hours with my boys and their girlfriends. Wonderful moment!

Happy 4th to everyone!

I went down to the Esplanade in Boston to see the show. It was quite spectacular. Here’s a link to a 14 sec video …

I had an epic 3 day weekend with the 3 kids, 3 kids in laws and 5 grandkids. Best ever although we are in a campfire ban/ fireworks ban part of the country so all the fun was water related. Even remembered to keep my pump on dry land when I jumped into the lake.

@bostrav59 My wife and I watched quite a bit of the Boston fireworks display live! It was quite good and beat waiting for the DC show which we did not stay up for. We spent the day with our daughters in-laws (great time!) and had our fireworks display at their place. I understand the DC show was so long and with the heat inversion, the smoke from it caused terrible aiar quality, ie you could still see the smoke hanging around in the morning!
