Dexcom Notifications

Dexcom Notifications can be frustrating. Looking at my phones notification history, last night I received 2 notifications.

-The first one(1:44 am) I acknowledged and gave a correction.

-Then several hours later(6:59 am) I get another notification and I’ve been high all night…No other notifications…:face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Maybe you already did this, but if you click on your high alert in the profile/alerts menu you can set how long your alarm snoozes for — that is, how long after you dismiss the alert that it alerts you again . You can also set how loud it is etc.

That said, I find phone alerts both somewhat frustrating and not entirely reliable. In all honesty, I haven’t spent much time trying to trouble shoot them. For me, having a SugarPixel next to my bed is simpler and more reliable for nighttime alerts.

I use NightWarch on Android for alerts. I also find Dexcom alarms not to be as helpful as they could be.

Might I recommend SugarPixel. It’s been the ONLY thing to keep me hearing highs all the time, every time. Dexcom was not at all helpful, nor was SugarMate.

Might I also add that the customer support has been incredible.

Thanks for the tip. I looked and it says 30 minutes.

I think I might play with this during the day and see if it does what it says.

Thanks you, I forgot about this, but remember you posting about it in the past. I’ll take another look. This would sure beat fumbling with my phone at night.

Large button. Easy to “slap” to turn off when waking up to treat. It’s been a life saver for me with regards to Liam. Before this device, nothing woke me up at nights for highs. Definitely recommend or. Best $110 I’ve ever spent with regards to D-management. I bought 2. One my room and one for Liam’s.
