Contour Next test strips - price alert!

For those of you who use the Contour meter and look for good deals on strips, I saw this on Amazon today. It’s 29.4 cents per strip! That is super cheap!

(They also include a bottle of glucose tablets, but I will throw those out just based on principle that I would much rather eat something tasty. And I have only eaten 1 glucose tab in my life. :grinning:)

Anyway, here is the link. I don’t know how long this deal will last!

Not sure if the Amazon prices are consistent no matter where you live, but let me know if you are able to get them for the $88 price. I bought some today for that price.

Yes I got that price…plus sales tax. Thanks again for the heads up!

If someone is looking for the absolute rock bottom price and isn’t bothered by creating more trash, here is a good deal from the Walmart site (25 cents per strip):

Oooh! It come with a George Orwell “Room 101” lancing device!

I just got mine today !

That is a great price! My insurance bills $477 for 450 strips, and my portion is $150. So it is $30 less to buy at Walmart than via insurance!

We have frequently found this on the Contour Next strips as well. Insurance is more expensive…go figure.

That’s messed up, isn’t it?

And so it is. Our plan changed and long story short, we opted to pay cash for 30-day supplies at Sam’s Club and found our bill was substantially less than the same 30-day supply using our insurance. This is on our regular meds, not the insulin. We did opt to use the 90-day insurance plan because our co-pay assist does not support cash payment.
