Hi everyone. I’m not seeing a post area where we can help each other out if we have extras of something, or no longer use something, but would like to give whatever it might be to someone who might be struggling or can use it.
My cousin has a roommate who had a bad breakup with their ex. He lives in Illinois & the ex lives in New Zealand. Sadly, she left a box of Tandum AutoSoft 30 Infusion set at his house (I see 5 in the picture). I use an Omnipod, so this doesn’t help me. I was wondering if anyone in the Chicagoland area uses a Tandum & would like a free box. I would be happy to meet whoever needs it.
From me, I have a Dexcom 6 (expired) transmitter, patches for the Dexcom 6 that I don’t use, & one of those black devices to keep track of your readings (I’m forgetting the name of those things). If anyone wants to take those off my hands, too, I would be happy.
I live by O’Hare & wouldn’t mind helping someone out if they can use any of this.
That’s a very kind offer! If none of our members needs these supplies, you could consider donating them to a charity. There are organizations like Insulin for Life that take diabetes supplies. Maybe someone else knows what charities active in your region are trustworthy.
I’ve been wondering what to do with the excess stuff that I don’t use anymore. Thank you for the advice. I’ll wait a week to see if anyone wants these things, & if no one says anything, I’ll donate. Thank you so much.
