Hi, I’m Freckles and was diagnosed 62 years ago when I was 4. A number of years later my brother was also diagnosed as a teenager.
Currently I use Omnipod dash, Libre 3+ and finger pricks.

Hey there Freckles - I’m Sheryl and have been T1D for 56 years! I was 9 when diagnosed and have been using Dexcom 7 and Omnipod Dash for about 4 years now. Before that it was long acting insulin and Dexcom 4-6. Nice to meet you!

Welcome we need some new members. I’ve had a Libre +3 for four years no major problems. Now I have a Twiist aid. Works well with Libre three and iPhone.

Hi I’m shelly from Burnaby bc Canada next Vancouver I been a diabetic 20 years I use the omnipod dash and dexcom g7 I love cat reading and social media i also have turners syndrome

Hi! I’m Yvette. I’ve had T1D since 1986 (+39 years), when I was 21. I’m a former member of TuDiabetes, so I’m using the same member name: Yve65
I had been dragging my feet on creating an account here, but diabetes plus an upcoming medical procedure kicked me into gear, and here I am to say Hi!, and do research. Needles to say, I was immediately able to find useful information that I can use to have a constructive conversation with my doctor.

My favorite people are nurses, teachers, librarians especially research, pharmacists and physical, speech and occupational therapists. Doctors and Administrators not so much- necessary but they have to really work to get in my good book. Fortunately the stable of doctors I have are the best and my PCP and retinologist are both cycling friends. That gives them bonus points

I’m with @CarlosLuis ref @Yve65! I’ve said for decades we grossly underappreciate and value the services of police, firemen, and teachers! We count on them to run toward danger and educate our children, few provide more service to our society. I know there are bad apples amongst them, but most are decent people trying to make difference! Welcome @Yve65!
