Thanks! I’m so glad you found it helpful. I’m also back on my pump and loving it. Staying in range most of the time, and using basal adjustments on a daily basis. 
This method definitely works much better for me than Tresiba did.

After several weeks on Tresiba, my dawn phenomenon has come back. I decided to try doing 2 injections at the same time that equaled the dose I was doing before (22 units). I thought that maybe the insulin would work better with two different injections.
I’m now on the second day of this, and my basal rate is waaaaaay too low. It looks like I would need more insulin to have the same effect as 1 injection (which seems totally illogical and confusing). Did you need to increase or decrease the number of units when you did this? Thanks

No, I kept the same number of units. But I split the dose into morning and evening injections rather than doing them at the same time, since it seemed that doing them at the same time made Tresiba too weak at some times and too strong at others.
