Starting on t:slim X2: my first questions

I am actually ok if it craps out.

Customer Support assured me they would replace it under warranty.
Only two exceptions were:

  • The pump case can not be cracked open (ie - no self fix attempts)
  • The pump must be returned (ie - if lost overboard, must recover. No lost pumps.)

So I agree with you that the pump could suffer water damage but I am willing to roll those dice.

To each their own. There is little that is more irritating to me than a surprise pump failure so I choose not to roll the dice haha

None. They were highly suspicious the second time and stated there would be a full teardown to determine defect. I then reminded them that since the second pump was a remanufactured pump any defect was their’s. Had the replacement pump same day I called to report it.
