Restaurant adjustment

When you pre-bolus at a restaurant, sometimes the food takes a little longer than you expected. And sometimes the food portion is much smaller than you thought it would be…

…so you survey, adapt, and move on. :man_shrugging:

Pretty much emptied their entire coffee/tea sugar server set.

You must have been quite a sight chugging down those sugar packets. Did you do one at a time, or down multiple packets at a time.

I started out doing one at a time but then moved on to doing several at a time.

Must’ve been confusing to the waitress, since I ordered a diet coke.

Just like popcorn or chips…you start off slow thinking you’re going to be civilized, then in 2 or 3 minutes, you’re cramming as many in your mouth as can fit…(speaking from personal experience here.) :stuck_out_tongue:

Reminds me of the time I was at a restaurant and watched my grandfather open and simultaneously pour 5 sugars into an iced tea. I was impressed to say the least.

How much IOB did you have when you were at 45? For me when my prebolus kicks in prior to food causes my anxiety level to go to level 10. Usually end up with a disastrous bg once all the carbs I consume start kicking in combined with my meal.
