80% would be 47 hot dogs or 26 eggs.
Well, he was aiming to down 73 hotdogs. But then this nagging voice kicked in.
Good point to think about.
Just satisfied. I do believe you shouldnāt feel stuffed after meals - Iād imagine the average American has taught their brain that they do!
Another good thing to rememberā¦Iām horrible about staying hydratedā¦
Since you asked the question at what does a portion look like. My son aims for around 100 carbs a day give or take. We eat low carb for breakfast (max 25 carbs), so for dinner we usually aim for between 30-40 carbs.
Remembering that this is a teenager we are talking about he will usually eat 6-8 ounces of protein, fish, steak, pork, chicken etc. That will be pared with a large helping of a non-starch vegetable (1/2-2/3 cup), and finished with a very large salad (heaping dinner plate sized salad). That usually holds him until a small snack just before bed, i.e. 1 - 2 ounces of nuts.
That makes me feel a little better - thatās a bit more than the portions I have to eat if Iām not doing a starchy veg/carb. Not much more thoughā¦I can out-eat my 6ā7 husband some days (yay, baby growth spurts).
