I came across this organization during a chat with a CDE. She spoke very highly of their educational resources so I decided to link it here. Seems to be basic but comprehensive training for most of the currently available pumps and CGMs. https://www.pantherprogram.org/
I’ve been relying on this Panther program description of the various twiist loop settings (and how to tweak those settings). Seems to be more direct advice in here about tweaking settings than I got from the pump trainer or the user manual.
This looks like a good resource for a wide range of treatment choices that reflect the wide range of needs/personalities of people with diabetes. Glad you found this resource, John. I suspect that you’ll learn a lot about how automated insulin dosing systems work and also a refined understanding of basal rates, I:C (insulin to carb ratio), and insulin sensitivity factor (ISF).
I agree with the Juice Box podcaster, Scott Benner, that treating diabetes with insulin all distills down to dose size and timing.
