The most common argument I hear is that insulin is an undetectable way to kill people. Nurses offer that argument a lot. It always makes me feel a little uncomfortable about who these nurses are. There are cases of this, but I don’t know how common it is. It seems more common that providers kill us by not allowing us insulin access, and it usually intentional.
