Medical alert bracelet

I’ve had a medical alert bracelet since I was diagnosed T1 in 2015. I have a pump and am allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs. My family doctor urges me to wear one. I have my medical conditions and family emergency contact information engraved on it. EMT will have the important information that could save my life.

Nice! I have a bracelet from Medic Alert that lists my diabetes, allergies, and other medical conditions. It has a toll-free hotline that works worldwide where medical first responders and other medical professionals can call in to access a complete list of my medical conditions, medications, medical devices, doctors’ contact information, and emergency contacts. I’ve worn medical ID bracelets since I was diagnosed in 1991 and feel vulnerable without one.
