Well, it looks like the parents in the TypeOne Grit Facebook group participated in an observational trial, and the results were impressive. What I would be interested to see, of course, is whether this actually reduces the risks of complications that are typically seen 10, 15 and 30 years down the line, which this study is not yet able to show:
