Insulin still good?

We’re in a cold place where the overnight low is 26 degrees fahrenheit. Current temperature is actually 26 degrees. We forgot the diabetes supply bag in the car from around 6pm last night. We just opened the car and the insulin is liquid. Is there any way to know if it ever froze over night? Or do we just have to try it and see if it works? Are cars usually warmer overnight than the outside temperature?

Insulin takes much longer to freeze than water. And I am not sure if it would ever freeze at only 32 degrees, the freezing point seems to be lower than that of water. I have tested this out in my freezer.

I am sure it is fine if it was only overnight, and 26. The inside of a car will be a little warmer than the surrounding air for a while. Eventually the inside of a car will be the same as the outside, but it just takes a while.

I am betting the insulin is fine. I have frozen insulin and thawed it, and it still worked.
