Insulet press release about Dexcom integration

I’m not sure there is anything new in this press release, which came out today:

It does predict a release in 2020 and it does seem to say that the control will be in “one’s personal smartphone”:

The Omnipod Horizon System will combine market leading technologies into one integrated system consisting of the Omnipod tubeless insulin delivery Pod, the Dexcom CGM, and for the first time, an insulin pump controlled by the convenience of one’s personal smartphone.

Obviously the author of the press release hasn’t heard of any of the Loop stuff…

Android phone app for Horizon, IOS for Tidepool. They did say Horizon will be a new system, I’m curious if the pods will get a much needed overhaul. I suspect, neither will make the estimated late 2020 release date.
