Are Omnipod 5 pods hard wired to not work after the expiration date?
I tried Omnipod 5 a while back and, while I liked some aspects of it, went back to Tandem. I’ve held onto a number of pods to use as backup if my Mobi fails suddenly. The pods expired over a year ago.
Does anyone know if they would work or if the controller would recognize that they had expired and prevent me from using them?

I have not used O5 pods, but I have used both of the other types - the classic and the Dash.
And I have used many of them well past the expiration date with no problems. Sometimes years after the expiration.
I would bet the O5 version will also still work. But why not burn one and make sure? Just fill one with water and see if it activates. Better to test it when you don’t need it!
