The applicator for the Libre is rather small in size. It takes just a few simple steps and has a kind of spring mechanism. You hold it down on your upper arm (the only place the Libre is meant to go) and just push. It goes right in, and then you disengage the applicator in one easy step.
I have had 2 bleeders which I have had to remove immediately, so I never wasted the 1 hour warm-up time. but other than that, no problems (knock wood so far.)
When I was using the Dexcom, I had a miserable time with it. I couldn’t get ANY accuracy at all, so it was virtually useless to me. I tried sights all over my body, but nothing worked substantially. But at that time, I was not hydrating enough (as I am now) and I think that that might have played a large part in why it failed me as a helpful tool.
