FYI a few weeks back I attempted to insert a new sensor and after pushing the insert button noticed nothing there when I lifted the inserter. My first thought was that it was missing. Then I noticed it on the floor with a tiny drop of blood on the sensor pin. Do it did insert and fell right off. I clean my skin with just alcohol before insertion and that has always worked fine. When I picked up the sensor to try and figure out why it fell off I noticed no adhesive on the bottom of the sensor. I called Dexcom and they sent a replacement and a return container for the failed sensor.
I just thought I’d share this in case anyone else has one fall out. It may be a rare failure, shut just be aware.
