Curious about CGM Shelf Life (G7, Libre 3, etc.) in Different Countries

Hi everyone,

I’m curious about the typical shelf life of CGM sensors that people receive in different parts of the world. In my experience with Dexcom G7, the time until the “Use By” date can range from 12 to 18 months.

What’s it like in your country? If you’re willing to share, could you let me know:

  1. Your CGM Brand (e.g., Dexcom G7, Libre 3)

I currently have Dexcom G7’s that don’t expire until September 2026 and picked them up about 45 days ago with a 90 day supply. That timeline seems relatively consistent refill to refill. I sometimes receive boxes with mixed expiration dates, but usually expiration ranges of 1-2 months. The pharmacy seems to order them from a local distributor on receipt of a script/refill request vice stocking for expected orders like common drug orders.
