I did a search and this didn’t come up so I am checking to see if anyone has been diagnosed with this. I just got my blood results back and it appears that I have it. I have an appointment to meet with my doctor to go over things but was trying to find out as much as I could before so I will have questions ready. It is also considered an autoimmune disease.

I’ve had gastritis, but the cause was gastroparesis. Very hard to get a diagnosis.

Thank you for your response. I have an appointment to see the doctor to discuss it all with him but it is my understanding that my body is not allowing the nutrients in my stomach to be absorbed so my body can use them properly. It is causing my b12 and iron to be extremely low, so I will have to get shots or infusions in order to keep my levels in a normal range. I will find out more once I go to my appointment. I was hoping I might find someone on here that has gone through it and and give me some hope that it is not going to be as bad as it sounds.
