And that right there is probably why you would be a great parent. Having had my kids in my mid-30’s, thoroughly enjoying my life before kids, and my life after has given me the perspective of agreeing with your thoughts, but wishing more people like you had kids, as compared to those that believe their kids are there to serve them, or who only interact with other adults and basically ignore their kids.
Of course, if you aren’t sure, don’t do it. It is by far the most work I have ever put into anything. (mostly thankless)

I only eat the raw rish, sashimi and avoid the rolls. I recall I unsuspectingly ate 3-4 teeny tiny rolls- wham ! BG over 250, corrected all night. Argh.
