"New" metric for CGM users

read an article about Dexcom which led to article about the G6 which bled into the idea the medical profession is finally embracing.

It’s actually not new for those who have CGM software as we see the percentage breakdowns already. Those numbers are, far as i understand it, samr as “time in range” numbers.

I have never felt a typical meter gave and degree of control, instantaneous values, nothing continuous.

Everyone here knows this already. The promising thing is moving away from the other estimated values A1C in favor of looks at any timeframe we want, just set different date range.

I dunno but this seems not as trivial as it seemed when i started that article. It seems a big move to take advantage of the CGM’s collected data.

yes? no? i need new meds?
