How I got started on Loop

So a week ago Friday I decided to start with LOOP. I just followed the directions at https://loopkit.github.io/loopdocs/setup/build/installing/ It was a bit intimidating at times because all the involved systems are so big and unfamiliar, but I just followed the instructions step-by-step and the result was working software on my iPhone.
