Yes it’s different. It has 2 modes, manual and Auto. In manual mode, everything including programmed basals, temp basals etc is the same as Dash. In Auto mode the pod automatically raises and lowers basal every 5 minutes by getting a reading from Dexcom CGM.

It is easy to switch between modes. I have found a sweet spot of using manual mode before and after meals and Auto mode the rest of the time. So far so good.

That sounds quite good - I’m in Canada and approvals from Health Canada can take quite a while. It’ll get here eventually but By then, there will likely other similar systems available as well.

There are many Canadian companies developing and researching interesting solutions. Hope something comes out soon, will benefit everyone. :slightly_smiling_face:
